" Lifescan employed Joylynn as an
executive administrative assistant since the beginning of this year.
She came to us as a temporary (contract) employee. Joylynn did
an excellent job in this position and has been an asset to our
organization during her time in our office. Joylynn was responsible
for the office's administrative and
clerical functions. She also handled all schedule, travel and
expenses for our busy executives (myself included). She has
excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer
skills and is extremely organized. She can work independently, yet
is a team player. She learns quickly and initiates process
improvements along the way. She is able to follow through to ensure
that the job gets done in an expeditious manner.
Joylynn surprised me on numerous occasions by innovating a new
program or process, which helped our office efficiency. She
developed a new hire orientation manual and program on her own (she
had to struggle through her own "sink or swim" orientation so had
first hand knowledge on what would be helpful). She is flexible and
willing to take on an assignment that is handed to her (if she
doesn't think of it first herself).
Joylynn was always willing to offer her assistance and has an
excellent rapport with the many people in our office including
senior executives and customers. It is much to my dismay that we are
not able to bring her in as a permanent hire. If a position were
available, I would have offered it to Joylynn. She would be an asset
